This year, we’re thrilled to be working with Challenge Aid – a charity which promotes health in fitness in UK schools, and encourages children to help those less fortunate than themselves.
One way they do this, is through building ‘Schools of Hope’.
These schools operate after school hours, giving children educational support by providing desks, chairs, lighting and most importantly a good supply of up-to-date text books with responsible supervision in a safe and conducive learning environment.
It gives aspirational young people the opportunity to succeed and escape a lifetime of poverty by improving their job prospects and helps to increase self esteem through drama, music and sport at weekends, and enlightens them on life skills and health issues including the negative impact of alcohol, drugs and unprotected sex.
Together, our aim is to raise enough money through our VIP Charity Places and your donations to build one of these ‘Schools of Hope’, and help children in Africa to have a better life. To achieve this, we’ve released 250 extra places in this year’s Long Course Weekend, with all profits from the entries will go towards building a ‘School of Hope’.
These places cost £249 each and are only available via the entry button below.
